St. Louis Polo

Established in 1883, St. Louis Polo Club is the second oldest existing club in the United States.  Although the  early history of the club is unknown, once introduced polo quickly became an important activity in the area hosting events at Forest Park and various facilities around town.

By the late 1920’s and early 1930’s polo was so popular in St. Louis there were three regional teams- the Redbirds, the Bluebirds and the American Polo Club.  Competitions became more numerous as the teams hosted matches against teams from other midwestern cities and traveled throughout the region to play polo.  St. Louis teams continue to host tournaments and travel to play in other cities.

Today St. Louis Polo continues to host numerous charity events each year and practice games through out the season.

The 4th Annual Edward Jones - Old Newsboys Polo Match will feature an exciting game between Team Pace Properties vs. Team Royal Banks of Missouri! Saturday Semptember 23, 2022

The Stange Law Firm Kid's Area will keep children entertained with bounce houses, snow cones, face painting, and crafts!

Join us on the field at half-time with the divot stomp with champagne!

Stay after the match for a live concert by Arvell and Company!

Guests are encouraged to wear creative hats and vie for the title (and bragging rights) of Top Topper! Plus the winner will receive a nice gift bag from Saks Fifth Avenue!

There are ticket options for everyone! Sit in the all-inclusive VIP tent, grab a lawn chair and sit field-side or tailgate in comfort.

Gates open at 12:00pm. Polo match begins at 1:30pm. Concert to follow.

All proceeds go to the Old Newsboys Children's Charity - benefiting thousands of at-risk children in the St. Louis area.
